I will bless the Lord who guides me; even at night my heart instructs me. I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for He is right beside me. No wonder my heart is glad, and I rejoice. My body rests in safety. For you will not leave my soul among the dead or allow your holy one to rot in the grave. You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.
- Psalm 16:7-11

I will probably have to take a couple of days to discuss this passage of scripture. These few verses are so full. So let me just start from the beginningÖ

When we were born, Godís plans for us were not listed on a piece of paper and handed to us. So we definitely need His guidance and direction in order to live the life we were destined to live.

This morning when I woke up and began to pray, my mind kept shifting in so many directions because there is so much I need from God right now. There is so much going on that I was feeling overwhelmed and I was wondering how I was going to handle everything and get through it all. The enemy would have us think that there was no solution, no way out, no chance of victory, and that you could not overcome. THE DEVIL IS A LIAR! GODíS WORD IS TRUE AND HE SAID WE ARE MORE THAN OVERCOMERS! You see, as I prayed, the LORD reminded me on my own things are impossible, but with GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. Also, GOD planned my life and HE knows the plans HE has for me. Therefore, HE is the one I should follow. HE guides me. HE instructs me. The Lord is ALWAYS WITH ME and He is ALWAYS WITH YOU. You do not need to be shaken, confused, afraid, stressed or overwhelmed. Know that you can look to God for direction. God provides the exact guidance and direction you need. All Glory to God who guides us! Even at night while we sleep, God is speaking to our hearts. Do not worry or be afraid, because the Lord is right beside you, walking with you, steering you the right way, showing you where to go, what to do and how to do it. Trust the Lord, follow Him, and rest in Him.

Remember, all scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.
